About BCC

"Engaging Every Student, Every Lesson,

Every Day"

Being located on a single site means that a broad range of cross-curricular activities are available throughout the K-12 precinct and the College is able to make full use of these, whilst encouraging every student to realise their fullest potential, be it in the academic, sporting, social or leadership fields in a caring, challenging and safe environment.

Balmoral Community College offers our senior students a broad range of subjects to choose from, both in the VCE and VET streams of education. We also offer School Based Apprenticeships.

The Middle Years Unit provides for a seamless entry into senior education as each year level (Years 5-8) utilises an Inquiry Based Learning approach to further their studies and extend their knowledge base in their chosen area of study.
Our Junior Unit caters from Prep to Year 4 in modern, comfortable surroundings. Individual needs are catered for in a challenging yet supportive manner. The College aims to provide relevant Early Years education, particularly in the Literacy and Numeracy areas.

Kindergarten students are extremely well catered for in a thoroughly updated facility complete with a beautiful landscaped garden facility to encourage play and learning. Kindergarten students also have access to College facilities such as the Gymnasium and Library on a regular basis.

Our students are encouraged to be tolerant and respectful of others; to be independent learners and thinkers and to be flexible and adaptable to meet the challenges required of our growing technological society.
